Who better to run this &#8220;new&#8221; sport than a former Division I stalwart with Midwest ties in Lelan Rogers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>SPIRE Academy Lacrosse programs are ideal for serious lacrosse athletes looking for an intense training environment to prepare for the next level of competition. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spireinstitute.org\/academy\/academy-lacrosse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Academy<\/a> serves college-bound high school athletes, as well as high school graduates looking to train\/compete for an additional year while seeking the best possible college scholarship opportunities.<\/p><cite>SPIRE Academy<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-lelan-rogers\"><span id=\"lelan-rogers\">Lelan Rogers<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Coach Rogers comes to Northeast Ohio after a long stint as an assistant at Syracuse University. He has deep ties to the Midwest, having previously spent nine years as the head coach at Ohio Wesleyan. He boasts a 185-50 record as a head coach with multiple national championships.
